PDF Duplicate Review
Compare PDF batches locally and review duplicate candidates
What is PDF Duplicate Review?
Overview, problem solved, and key features
PDF Duplicate Review by Kastovia compares PDF batches locally in Chrome and exports groups, skips and errors as CSV. Byte-identical SHA-256 matches are separate from matching extracted-text candidates, which need visual review because images, signatures, forms and annotations may differ. Originals are never deleted, renamed or rewritten. Free batches support up to 10 PDFs; Pro v1 is €49 once including tax for up to 250 PDFs and up to three active browser installations. Pro batches require online licence verification. Limits include 20 MiB per PDF, 200 MiB per batch and 500 pages per PDF, plus processing budgets. No OCR, image comparison or automatic deletion.

Value Proposition & Deep Dive
The Problem It Solves
Reviewing a batch of PDFs manually makes it easy to miss repeated files or treat equal extracted text as proof that every visual detail is identical.
The Solution
Compare SHA-256 bytes and extracted page text locally, separate exact-file matches from text candidates, then export groups, skips and errors as CSV for human review.
